Review

The Native Instruments B4 II 2.0 is an upgraded version of the B4 software, which is basically an authentic software version of the legendary tonewheel organ and rotary speaker, which sounds just like its real-world role model.

It comes with a tube amplifier and speaker cabinets, engineered using Dynamic Tube Response technology, and present a wide range of options to the user, providing 120 presets and 11 alternative tonewheels sets. User can utilize this application as a stand alone as well as in the studio mode in form a plug-in, featuring integrated spring and studio reverb units. It also unveils an intuitive MIDI controller integration plus MIDI learn and controller templates, along with 9 drawbars per manual and 6 drawbars for the pedals, adjustable key-click options and flexible percussion as well as a lot more.

Apart from the regular functionalities, the special features like the Pedal legato and string bass modes make life easy for the user with the help of facilities like Scanner vibrato, chorus, rotary speaker, and tube amp distortion and overdrive and other sophisticated playing techniques. The tool presents a fairly wide and rich sonic range along with the additional sophisticated features making it a great option for all the virtual music playback needs.
